Founded in 1924, IATSE Local 631 has been meeting the needs of the entertainment industry in Central Florida
for over 75 years. We represent workers in almost every field of entertainment including live television,
theme parks, theatre, ballet, opera, orchestras, lighting and truss for conventions, industrials, and corporate
meetings. Over the years our membership has grown to nearly 1300 skilled men and women, dedicated to making your
show a success.
Through our referral hall, Local 631 dispatches professional stage crews to employers
throughout Central Florida, from the I-4 corridor to Cocoa Beach and Melbourne. We can provide stage and shop
carpenters, riggers, flymen, grips, lighting electricians and board operators, audio mixers and wireless
technicians, audio/visual technicians, wardrobe personnel, property persons, forklift operators, and truck-loaders.
