Q: How do I join?
- You must first complete an application on the official form, available by request from the Union office. The application processing fee is $100.00 and is non-refundable. Your application will be presented to the membership twice. You are invited to come and present yourself to our membership at these meetings. Upon the second introduction, your application will be voted on by the members present. Once you have received a favorable vote, you will be sworn into our membership.
- There may be an organization of specific crafts that may allow for deviation from this procedure.
- Those working for Walt Disney World or Production Resource Group who work full-time need only complete the official application.
- Transfers and Reinstatements are welcome at LU631! The Transfer/Reinstatement Fee is $100.
Q: Do I have to be a member to be on the over-hire list?
- No. Typically, an individual will work for a minimum of 12 to 24 months before considering applying.

Q: What are the over-hire list fees?
- The Referral Hall Fee is 4% of your gross earnings. Usually, this will appear on your check as a deduction. This fee is essential for the administration of the system. If this deduction does not occur, you will be responsible for this payment.

- Membership Dues are $82.53, due on the first day of each Calendar Quarter, January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, October 1st. If your payment is more than 30 days late, a $20.00 fee will be added to your account.

Q: When are General Membership Meetings held?
- General Membership meetings are held at 8:00 pm in our Main Office, the first Wednesday of every month. A quorum of 30 members in good standing is required for a meeting to be officially opened.
- So please, make every effort to attend.
